Vegan friendly Moroccan Restaurant in Itaewon
North African food with vegan friendly options. Here it’s one of the few North African food spots I have found in Seoul.
I had:
the chermoula carrot salad 🥕
morocco over rice 🌾
I really enjoyed my chermoula carrot salad with toasted almonds. The toasted almonds are pealed and then roasted first. You can tell that the aroma is way more intense. 👍 Also the herbs make a great difference to usual salads. The salad was a bit too oily though. It comes with vegan feta cheese and also plumbs - very juicy and a great contrast to the cheese! Definitely highly recommended.
Morocco over rice as another vegan 🌱 option with a small piece of tempeh (could be more indeed) and some Aubergine is served next to a healthy and light tomato onion salad, some lettuce and pickled cucumbers. The dip is also very good, creamy and well seasoned! The amount of rice is huge though and I don’t enjoy eating plain rice 🌾
It’s lovely to sit outside or inside and you can even see the Namsan Tower. Service speaks English depending of who is serving you. Prices are ok - but too high if you want to get satisfied you have to order two dishes so that adds up.
